RainDance edits the two performers in an attached reference video using two photos. The current reference is 10 seconds long, with pier and beach shots. You can edit 4–10 seconds at 720p or 1080p. The template keeps the original 16:9 framing and soundtrack.

This guide describes the current template and controls. It was prepared with AI assistance and checked against the product configuration. AI character replacement can still change faces, clothes or backgrounds; the reference is an editing target, not a guarantee of a perfect match.

1. Match each photo to a role

  • Photo 1 replaces the original woman, including her solo close-ups.
  • Photo 2 replaces the original man wherever he appears.

Use one clear, front-facing person per photo, preferably with even light and enough of the upper body to show the outfit. Avoid face coverings, heavy filters and group photos. Upload JPG or PNG files up to 10 MB each.

Use photos you own or have permission to use. The service does not allow public figures, minors, sexual content or harassment. Pet portraits are experimental in this human-character template and may produce inaccurate anatomy or identity.

2. Start with a short paid test

Choose 4 seconds and 720p for the lowest-cost test. This excerpt uses seconds 2–6 of the source, which includes a pier shot and a singing close-up. A short test consumes credits; it is not a free generation.

Before generating, check that both photos are in the correct slots and read the credit total shown by the editor. You need to sign in and have enough credits.

10 seconds82 credits108 credits

The supported lengths run from 4 to 10 seconds. The editor displays the exact price for your selected length and resolution. Monthly-plan and top-up credits last 30 days; annual-plan credits last 365 days. Compare the plans and billing terms on the pricing page.

3. Review every shot

After the task finishes, check the wide shot and each close-up:

  1. Does each person match the correct input photo?
  2. Are their face, hair, clothing and body shape consistent between shots?
  3. Do the pier, beach, camera movement and cuts remain coherent?
  4. Is the soundtrack present and aligned with the picture?

A successful render does not guarantee that every edit is accurate. If the likeness is weak, try a clearer photo or a shorter clip. A retry is another generation and uses credits. Failed generation tasks return the deducted credits through the refund process; if a refund remains pending, contact support from your account.

4. Download and share

Completed videos appear in your library, where you can preview and download the MP4. The current template produces landscape 16:9 video. A vertical post may require cropping or letterboxing in your publishing app; changing the frame is not a generator setting for this template.

The MP4 retains the reference music and vocals. RainDance does not grant rights to third-party music, footage or likenesses. Confirm the permissions that apply to your intended publication or commercial use.

What this template does not provide

The current template does not offer a 28-second render, 480p output, free test generations or a choice of aspect ratios. It cannot guarantee an exact shot-for-shot identity replacement. These limits matter when choosing settings and deciding whether the result is ready to post.

Open the RainDance video editor to upload your photos, or return to the reference example to inspect the source scene first.
